Postponement of Spring Clean 2020
In light of ongoing developments in Scotland regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19) and having reflected on the advice available from the Scottish Government and the NHS, Keep Scotland Beautiful has decided to postpone Spring Clean 2020.
Our top priority is to minimise the impact of Coronavirus (Covid-19) on our employees, our volunteers and supporters, those we work with and members of the public.Therefore, to avoid any uncertainty, we have decided to take a precautionary approach and postpone Spring Clean 2020 and the associated events we had planned. We have asked those who have already registered an event for Spring Clean 2020 to postpone their event(s) for now.
Clean Up Scotland is our national campaign to build community pride and make Scotland clean for future generations. We work with communities, businesses, schools, local authorities and individuals, to participate in clean up activities across Scotland.
Upstream Battle is our ambitious campaign to tackle marine litter at source.
Groups from across the Clyde Valley are adopting their local waterway, conducting litter surveys and building a picture of litter that has the potential to get into the marine environment.
Upstream Battle currently covers the following local authority areas : East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow City, Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire.
